Penglai Hexi Gold Mine Co., Ltd. was founded in August 1993 as Hexi Gold Mine and changed to a company of limited liability in August 2003. It currently employs 1,500 personnel, inclusive of more than sixty technical workers and many senior engineers. Moreover, it has established technical cooperation with many scientific institutes and universities around the country and formed a complete production system, ranging from prospecting to mining, beneficiation and smelting. Relying on that, it has developed into a well-known gold business in eastern Shandong.
